Brad Ledwith

Brad Ledwith brings an uncommon passion and personal touch to his work as a financial advisor. After years of working at a major investment firm, he founded Ledwith Financial Services in order to provide his clients with a higher level of service and personal attention. The firm remains independent, in order to sustain that high level of individualized service and response.

Brad also brings considerable depth of experience to his clients. In his 15 years as a financial advisor, he has worked with people in a wide array of situations to help them meet their financial goals. He has a profound ability to listen and to understand each person’s unique situation. And he is a calm presence that can help clients navigate through the financial aspects of life’s ups and downs. In addition, Brad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a certification that represents over 500 hours of study and testing to attain.

Because of his own childhood, Brad has a special interest in working with people who find themselves suddenly single, for example through a death or divorce. His father died when Brad was 16, and he watched his mother cope with suddenly being on her own as a single parent. Helping others weather similar situations financially brings great satisfaction to him.

Brad’s interest in finance manifested early in life. He purchased his first stock when he was 17 years old and became fascinated with the market and the economy. Soon after, he started investing in younger companies and building a diversified portfolio. In his first job as a sales manager, he traveled widely, and he was impressed by the wealth of investment opportunities out there. This inspired him to pursue his first love and join a major investment firm.

Born and raised in San Diego, Brad was the first person in his family to go to college. He attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo on a baseball scholarship and was a pitcher on the NCAA Championship-winning team in 1989. Brad is still involved with his alma mater, active in the alumni association and providing a scholarship for liberal arts students.

And he’s still passionate about baseball. Brad sponsors a Little League team, and he was recognized by Morgan Hill Pony Baseball for sponsoring Ledwith Financial Field in Morgan Hill, specifically for youngsters seven to eight years old.

Brad is active in the Morgan Hill community in other ways as well. He served on the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce Board for three years. He is an active member of Morgan Hill Rotary Club and was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International for his contributions to the organization.

Brad and his wife Aimee have been married for nine years, and they have four children, Ben, Nolan, Brooke and Hudson. Their love of travel has led them to visit destinations all over the world.
