What does it mean to be a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner?

Most people think that all financial planners are “certified,” but this isn’t true. Not every financial advisor is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner. Financial professionals must complete intensive study and testing and must meet the CFP® Board's rigorous standards in order to receive this certification.

The CFP practitioner makes you the primary focus of the planning relationship. The financial planner’s recommendations are driven by your individual needs and financial situation. This broad-based approach distinguishes CFP practitioners from other professional advisers who typically focus on only one area of a person's financial life. |

You Are the Focus

At Ledwith Financial, we follow the Financial Planning Practice Standards set out by the CFP Board.

The keystone of these standards is a six-step financial planning process. The result of following this process is a plan that is specifically tailored to help you meet your unique financial goals. |
